Comcast has partnered with the McKamey Animal Center to present adoptions On Demand. From On Demand (usually cable channel 01), just select Get Local, and then Pet Adoption to view profiles of featured dogs and cats. Fall in love on TV and come see the real thing in person!
Volunteers take adoptable dogs to the Play Dog Excellent training center for training classes. If the dog is adopted during the 6-week class, the new owners may continue with the class and ultimately graduate from the program. The McKamey Animal Care and Adoption Center is participating in the BI-LO Booster Plus fund raising program this year. We can earn money for the Center by simply shopping at any BI-LO and using your BonusCard. We would like everyone to join the program by giving one of the enrollment cards (download below) to a cashier along with your BonusCard to be scanned with your grocery order. The ONE-TIME scan will enroll you for the McKamey Animal Care and Adoption Center until May 31, 2010. We will receive 1% of your total purchase amount each time you shop at BI-LO using your BonusCard. If you cannot download the enrollment form, stop by the Center to pickup a copy.
