| The McKamey Animal Center offers a Spay A Stray Program to assist City of Chattanooga residents with population control for our local stray cat population. In 2010 and again in 2011, McKamey took in over 8,000 animals. Grant driven spay/neuter programs are the solution we offer to help lower that number. As the open door animal shelter for the City of Chattanooga it is our responsibility to aide in animal population control as well as save as many lives as we can. This program is only available to Chattanooga city residents and is designed to provide individuals with stray cats a low cost solution. If the cats on your property are feral please look into the TNR portion of our CATANEUTER program. |
