McKamey Animal Center is celebrating Spay/Neuter Awareness month by offering free and reduced cost spay/neuter through the month of February!  Through our Bully Blockade program, pit bulls and pit mixes in the city of Chattanooga can be spayed or neutered for free.  Bully Blockade is by appointment only, so please call 423-305-6512 to schedule a time.We also offer low- or no-cost programs for cats.  Feral cats in the city of Chattanooga can be spayed or neutered free of charge.  Stray cats in the city can be altered at a discounted rate of $40 for females and $30 for males.  Cats can be dropped off at the surgery door without an appointment Thursday through Saturday between 7am to 8am and can be picked up the same day between 4pm 5pm.  If you have any questions, please call 423-305-6512.

To reduce the pet overpopulation problem in the Chattanooga area, every animal that leaves the McKamey Animal Center is spayed or neutered before leaving to go into an adoptive home, thereby preventing more unwanted litters.  Your donations help the McKamey Animal Center to spay and neuter these animals before they leave the Center; together, we can end pet overpopulation in our community.  We are always appreciative of monetary donations to help with spay/neuter.
