Scenic City Half Marathon

Support McKamey Animal Center by  Participating in the Scenic City Half Marathon, 5K & Charity Challenge!
Help Chattanooga’s homeless animals, see our beautiful city, and keep your New Year’s Resolution to get in shape! Participate in the Scenic City Half Marathon, 5k, and Charity Challenge–you can run, walk, or just help raise funds!In an effort to give back to the community, the Scenic City Half Marathon and 5K presented by the Chattanooga Track Club features a special Charity Challenge.  Seven local charities will be competing, and McKamey Animal Center is one of those charities.  A portion of each race participant’s entry fee will be donated to the charity as selected by the participant ($7.50 from half marathon entries and $5.00 from 5K entries.)

The Scenic City Half Marathon runs through the heart of Chattanooga, over the Tennessee River via the historic Walnut Street bridge, and back along the river by way of the scenic Tennessee Riverpark.  It is a relatively flat and fast course.  The 5K race is an out and back flat course.

In addition, participants and friends have the option and opportunity to raise additional funds for McKamey through the online fundraising module.  You can donate at our fundraising page by clicking HERE. You can also create your own fundraising page and encourage your friends and family to donate!   Simply click on the link above and click on “Become A Fundraiser.”  You can still contribute to the Charity Challenge even if you are not running in the race!
