Work within a team setting to oversee the health, well being, and general care of Center animals. Responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary facility for animals and people while providing humane handling and care for all Center animals on a daily basis. Assist the public when admitting animals and promote responsible pet ownership.


Provide animal services to the community, education regarding responsible pet ownership, enforcement of local ordinances and state law and first line protection to animals in need.


The Admissions Clerk is under the immediate supervision of the Triage Supervisor. The Admissions Clerk is responsible for providing quality customer service to individuals entering the center with animals or on the phone. The Admissions Clerk handles the intake processing of animals into the center from community residents and the reclaiming of animals by owners.
