It has come to our attention that a number of our donors believe that they are donating funds to us when they donate to the Chattanooga Humane Educational Society.

Please be advised that these donations DO NOT support the new McKamey Animal Care and Adoption Center.

The McKamey Animal Care and Adoption Center is not affiliated with the Chattanooga Humane Educational Society in any way other than we both want to reduce the pet overpopulation problem in Chattanooga and Hamilton County.

THE PURRRRRFECT GIFT

Honor a Loved One While Saving a Life

Not sure what to give to that special someone who has everything or to your favorite animal lover? Why not make a gift donation that will help rescue homeless animals and give them a new life. Your donation of $100 or more gets you a personalized brick on the Paw Print Pathway which will wind its way around the Center's grounds. This lasting memory will not gather dust in the recipient's closet or be returned to a store. Instead, it will be put to good use to prevent suffering and leave a legacy of compassion. These bricks make a wonderful “in honor” or “in memory” of that special person (or pet). We will also send an acknowledgment card to the gift recipient when you give us with their mailing information.

Kuranda beds provide an elevated vantage point many dogs enjoy and help make their space a little more like home as they wait for their forever family.

Sturdy pvc frames with heavy duty 40 oz vinyl fabrics are easily cleaned with a hose and disinfectant – very important in maintaining a healthy shelter environment.
