In order to reduce the number of unwanted litters of kittens this spring, McKamey Animal Center is offering FREE cat spays and neuters, while funding lasts. Thanks to a generous grant, McKamey Animal Center is able to offer free services for as many as 250 cats beginning January 5, 2022.
“This effort, designed to fix as many cats as possible before they have a chance to reproduce, will hopefully provide much needed relief from litters of unwanted kittens this spring,” said MAC Director of Veterinary Services, Christina Tate.
Even though feline surgeries will be free, MAC still hopes that cat owners will “pay it forward” by donating funds to help fix even more cats in our community. Rabies, other vaccinations and city licenses will not be included in the fee-waived surgery, but can be added on to your appointment for an additional fee.
